Happy 26th birthday to Lady Gaga. She was born this way and born today!

The Mother Monster has accomplished quite a bit in the past half-century-plus-one mark, and she’s only just getting started. While there’s no denying that 2011 was a banner, career-defining year for the woman born Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta, she is going to keep the fires burning through 2012, her 26th year. So in honor of Gaga’s birthday, on March 28, we’ve assembled 10 reasons why 2012 will be a Gaga year.

REASON NO. 10: SHE SETS THE BAR HIGH

2011 was the biggest year of Gaga’s career, where she broke through and became a major pop star. She’s easily one of the biggest out there, but she is not the type to remain content with what she did. She’s already thinking ahead to what she can do in 2012, and that bodes well for little monsters.
